(ii) nylons are typically polyamides and polyesters have ester functional groups in them. Amides and esters can both be made by reacting carboxylic acids (or derivatives) with another functional group.

Probably the best way is to look up these in a text book or on the internet as it is not easy to draw diagrams here with only text input.
Nylon 8-10 just tells you there a 8 C atoms in one monomer and 10 in the second.
for no 2, the Polyester is commonly known as Terylene or Dacron and you can readily find details on that
