Loss of heat at home is a common issue during winter. The problem is often due to using the usual single pane windows. It contributes to around 60% of the heat loss. That is why you need double glazing Norwich. Glazed windows and doors can trapped the heat within the house and prevent loss of heat. There are plenty of glaziers in Norwich that can provide you with affordable glazing services.
Hotpots, stews, steamed puddings, dumplings… As the temperature falls below freezing, Nigel Slater finds himself yearning for old-fashioned food White skies, crisp twigs that snap underfoot, the air so cold you can see your breath. These are my favourite days of all. The days of cold hands and hot soup. Sadly, such times are few compared with those that are just grey and soggy. The sort of cold dampness that in this house with its capricious heating system, goes right through to your bones. Food becomes more important than ever – I can’t exactly get away with a tomato and mozzarella salad right now. The main meal of the day must be substantial, a little heavy even, if it is to keep out the cold and wet. The food my grandparents enjoyed is suddenly on my mind: hotpots, stews, dumplings and steamed puddings. Strangely, when I am really cold I often hanker after food that is on the bland side: cauliflower cheese, baked potatoes, butter beans stews and pasta dishes. Risotto too, and dough…
First of all let your landlord know about it if your reenting an apartment. You can go to legal aid for tenent rights if landlord does nothing about it. And one of the best advices I can give to you now is keep your windows cracked about an inch or half an inch this will cause your apt. or house to have some air circulation, and will stop mold from coming.
First you will need a dehumidifier to get rid of what is there now. Then cover the walls with Drylock a paint that prevents moisture from seeping through the blocks or cement

You may want to call the local heath department and your local attorney generals office. Mildew is hazardous to your health, and Most of not all landlords should know this, why do you think they have air exchangers in underground garages?
I'm a landlord, and it wouldn't be asking too much if a resident had asked me for one, I wouldn't have to go through the cost of marketing the apartment and turning costs, I made a resident happy and they will stay until the end of their lease, and may renew in the end.
I would call around then ask if they would purchase one for you, however they probably won't pay for the electrical costs.
I hope this helps, and this is what I would do for a resident.

Your oven temperature may be too high, thereby cooking the outside of the loaf or cake layer too soon, leaving the inside only partly cooked. Or it could be that you are taking the item out of the oven too soon. Ovens do vary somewhat, so you'll have to experiment with yours to determine how best to resolve the problem. First, I'd suggest leaving the item in the oven ten minutes longer than specified in the directions.
Also remember that food continues cooking for a few minutes when first removed from the oven – so it might help just to leave your loaf of bread or layer(s) of cake in the pan(s) and just let 'em sit for a few minutes before turning them out of the pan.
Open windows and leave open. Leave door open when ever practicable, add vents if needed. You need to air out the garage and always try to maintain ventilation inside it. PS: you could add gable vents of the correct size if you don't want doors and windows left open. Good luck, but remember you must ventilate to correct this moisture problem.
Not sure about no commercial, but there is a variety of them at your local home depot that will probably do a much better job and with ease of returns if it doesn't.
I was trying to diagnose the damp in my house to see what action I needed to take and I found this article about diagnosing the different types of damp it will help answer your question.

Remove the outlet covers and switch covers on all outside walls and put this foan insulation over the switches and receptacle and then reinstall the plates and outlet covers.
Now look around for openings in the foundation, cracks, missing chunks of concrete, etc. Get a couple of cans of spray foam insulation and fill these areas in. Also, see if there are drafts along the bottoms of exterior doo,f there are get some metal strips which are made to fasten to the doors and seal out drafts.
